Words Speak Louder Than Actions

Action Part One
You know the saying right? "Actions speak louder than words", well there is some truth to that, but do all actions really carry that much weight? I suggest that they do not when they are just automatic and below the RADAR of your conscious mind; undirected and without focus or purpose. In such a case words, or more accurately thoughts speak louder than actions because they cause the situations that dictate what action can be taken… if you are being conscious enough to notice. If you do then you are in a position to exercise great power in your life. The power that every one of us possesses potentially.
Since making a committed effort to "change my brain" I have found myself naturally becoming a much more creative thinker. I am a creative person, mainly in the area of music and design related things, but when it comes to being creative in the area of getting things done, generating interest etc. I have historically found myself rather limited. This seems to be changing though and I am noticing more things as opportunities rather than just passing or casual occurrences.
I must make clear however that with all these visualization techniques, affirmations, meditation and use of neural technology is not enough by itself. The vision must be clear first and foremost, this is true, but without action points there really is no way that you can really manifest the results you desire. Of course many people make the mistake of applying the creation process in the wrong order. Action comes first for many people, when in truth this will only perpetuate one outcome. Lots of hard work and little or no results.
Once the "inside" work is done a clear list of action points can then be listed, but not necessarily specific "things to do". For example one action point could be: "Find help in promoting my new product" and through your commitment to the inside work, that is working on your mind set, beliefs and focus you will then find the answer as to what action you need to take either come to you as an idea or show itself as an opportunity to act on. It is possible, for example that a critical aspect to moving closer to one of your goals requires you to take certain action, which could end up being a simple act of saying "yes" to a request or an offer from somebody. The action does not necessarily have to be complicated or taxing if you have spent some energy on the "hard" work already, which is preparing the seed of your goal (training your mind for the required thought process to manifest it). You can then effortlessly carry out your tasks without having to then waste energy on having a constant internal dialogue about "How to". There is nothing more satisfying than looking at your list of action points with a line through every one. I find the most effective way is to make a new list everyday. In fact one action point on my daily list is always "Write out tomorrows list". That’s easy, but powerful. it simply provides your subconscious mind with something to focus on, seeking out ways to have that action point taken care of in the most appropriate way for you. I always make sure I have got a clear idea of where my focus will be for the next day and stick to it. It doesn’t always happen because I still get distracted at times, but…
The day may actually turn out to be effective in a completely different area, but it is the focus and the conviction of what I will concentrate on that brings about the day that follows, so if my main task becomes something that wasn’t on the list, but highly beneficial then that’s because my "inside map" has attracted a particular area of focus for that day. Distractions therefore are sometimes intuition in disguise. It’s a great process and now going through "to do" lists is a pleasure for me when it used to be an ordeal.
OK so here is an example Action list for today
- Post on my travel blog..
- write a song for my music pod cast.
- Publish 1 article on my "example" web site. (as it happens, somebody has offered me an article to include)
- Design "another example" web site and get it online. (Main job of the day)
- Make a few specific calls. (social and business)
- Continue writing draft content for my book.(whatever comes out)
- Write down some ideas for possible future projects.(whatever pops into my head)
- Write tomorrow’s list!
Simple and effective. Add to that my daily routine, which includes exercise, Neural reconditioning process, Holosync and developing my dream business.
Once you know what you want to achieve, this is easy because it is then fun to be focused and committed!
