Embarking on the Journey of Success

How This Website Has Served Me

The principles I discus here at the Neural Recon report were born out of a desire to improve my life beyond recognition. It served as a reminder to me to continue in my new discipline of changing my way of thinking and outlook on life and the world around me. By writing about such things I was able to get clearer about my own goals and how I integrated this information and way of thinking whilst helping other people get into the idea themselves.

I still rely as much on this website now as I ever did and I often come here to read it as if I was not the writer because to be frank I don’t feel like I am. Not all the articles are that great, but occasionally I write one that really hits the mark and has a positive affect on a reader of two. Those are the articles that seem to write themselves. As a songwriter I understand that this is nearly always the case. The best songs are those that feel like the easiest and quickest to write. It’s like there is a guiding force that does the work for me.

Is it any wonder then that some of my biggest achievements in the last few years have felt the same way, like I didn’t really do anything to achieve them. They seemed to happen easily, although looking back all the hard work was done for years before when I was creating a resistance to them happening and buying into the illusion that it would require hard work and suffering to achieve.

I became aware of the principles of creating life by design at the beginning of 2007 although I was already on the path before then. It seemed like I had chosen it before I consciously knew of it’s existence. At the end of 2006 I had positively knew that I wanted to start a new life in a new country the other side of the world with an amazing woman that I had met, but felt this very strong feeling that it could never be. I had just returned from a visit to the location of my dreams and felt very low. I felt so low that instead of believing that it was impossible to change my life so radically (which in hindsight wasn’t so radical at all) I chose to believe in something new. I made a vow to do it as soon as I could and after a long, reflective walk in the cold I sat down to make my plans and then put them into action.

Step one was to set out a timeline and get a job with some very specific requirements that would allow me to earn enough money to save and still get time to visit my girlfriend in paradise! A tall order or so they say!

I have found that the most powerful way to start creating your own chosen success is to be absolutely certain, committed and full of belief. Everything else you require comes to you along the way. To be continued.
