Visualization

The human mind is a visualizing, picture-storing machine. When you have thoughts, although you may not be aware of it, your mind makes internal representations, mostly in the form of images. This is not the only way it makes internal representations, but try and remember anything from your past and it is likely that a memory will come to you in the form of a picture more often than any other form. Other forms are sounds, smells, taste, feelings and internal dialogue.

The fact that our minds are so influenced by images coupled with the fact that the sub-conscious mind cannot tell the difference between a lie and reality makes visualizing an extremely effective way of helping you to realize your goals and to manifest the results you desire.

After discovering that nearly all successful people practice visualizing their goals I soon realized that not including some form of regular visualizing technique was a big mistake if you want to manifest your desires. It’s like this: As children, we always enjoyed daydreaming and visualization is pretty much the same thing. If you can put aside a little time everyday to imagine your dream life, the things you want to attain & achieve or the kinds of people you want in your life then you will be spending that time in a state of joy to some extent. The images you convey to your mind along with the emotions you attach with them will prove very powerful in telling your brain what to search out and get for you.

Get visualizing immediately. It’s the best place to start on your mission to change your brain & change your life.

Visualization in Practice

Visualizing is probably the easiest thing to start doing in training yourself to develop habitual patterns that will help bring about positive changes in your life. Anyone would agree that it is easy to imagine situations and things that you desire. However, for some people this process may make them feel rather negative because once they start imagining what they would like, they are quickly reminded of what they do not currently have. This is the one habit that some people have that will guarantee failure to manifest anything you desire. Have fun doing it. Start by just daydreaming and practice catching yourself slipping back into automatic habits, like thoughts of "I don’t have it" or " I could never have or do that". These are illusions that exist due to past visualization (amongst other things) about a belief in lack or not being deserving. Once you catch youself having these thoughts, you can quickly reword them to be more serving toward your desired results. A prime example would be "How can I make that happen?" or "What do I need to do or be to achieve that?".

What is crucial is making these your new habits, so you don’t even have to concentrate hard on focusing on what you want.
