Subliminal Messaging
This is a big topic, not least because it is rather a controversial subject. The word 'Subliminal' can have a bit of a bad press depending on who you speak to.
The real reason, I believe that subliminal messages are viewed in a poor light by some is mainly due to fear. The sub-conscious mind is receptive to things right now that you have no idea are right in front of you due to your conscious mind placing filters on your environment, which is part of your internal map or reality, or your automatic thinking. Messages that are purposefully designed to slip through your conscious filters, but influence your mind through the receptiveness of your sub-conscious are nothing to be wary of. In fact this is a great way to train your brain into habitual patterns that will serve you better because the message will get through much quicker and at a much deeper level than simply being told something or reading it.
Subliminal messages do not require to pass through your beliefs and therefore not subject to any selective listening or viewing, which means they go straight in and begin influencing your mind. We all know how effective subliminals are since they were banned in advertising. They just worked so well that it was considered manipulation and brain-washing.
Well, I agree that brain-washing people into buying your product, just so that you can make a profit out of them isn't a very righteous way to make a living, but imagine, if you will, the concept of "Advantageous Brain-Washing". If you chose the information that you wanted your mind to adopt, knowing that subliminal messaging simply works then wouldn't it be a great idea to apply it to be more effective in creating the results in life that you want?
Being able to overcome fears and challenges, changing your negative beliefs about yourself into posititve, empowering ones, improving your intellect and your ability to make friends more easily are all examples of what many people would choose to do if they could.... and you can!
I have a program running on my laptop all the time that flashes up empowering messages and statements on my screen every 5 seconds, feeding those empowering beliefs to my brain. I can tell you it has an extremely positive effect and has definitely made a difference in the few months I have been using it.
